Whitney selected to the 2001 State ODP pool for U-15 Girls
This continues her string of successes in the Olympic Development Program,
dating back to June 1999 when she was selected to the
District ODP team.
During 2000 she was named to the
2000 State ODP pool,
Region-IV ODP pool
(42 players represented the U.S. Far West Region), and the
U14 National Pool when she and 19 other regional teammates combined with
60 players from the other three regions of the US to train in Alabama for a week with
coaches from the national staff.
In November 2000 she traveled to Florida with the
Region IV team
to participate
in a
Thanksgiving Interregional Tournament,
and in January 2001 she and three other U14 teammates joined the U15 State team in the
Region IV ODP Championships
in Las Vegas.
This summer she plans to try for the 2001 Region-IV ODP pool.
