Catching up . . .Been busy for awhile, so have gotten woefully behind in keeping things up to date here. Nik and Whitney have been back in the US for several months now. Whitney has been up in Oregon all summer, assisting a UW grad student collecting field data for an environmental research project. Having decided to return for a 4-year college degree, Nik will study engineering at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo this Fall semester.
Last year at the USAT 2008 Triathlon National Age Group Championships in Portland, Kim qualified to join Team USA in the 2009 World Championships in Australia.
Nik and Whitney recently returned from Australia, and loved it. Kim goes there this year. Lucy and I have never been to Australia, so this is as good a time as any to try and keep up with the rest of our family and see what the all the fuss is about.
More later, from the other side of the world.
