Dsrfix is free software. There is no obligation to make a donation to use it.

However, many people have written to me to ask how they may send a donation to show their gratitude for the help my website and program has provided. Accordingly, I have provided a way here to make it easy to send a donation to my PayPal account.

I did not write this webpage or the Dsrfix utility to make money. Lord knows, I expected--perhaps naively--that Dell would quickly come up with their own solution and there would be no need for my utility. Yet, more than six years later, there has never been an official fix from Dell--and considering that XP was (as of this writing) two OS versions ago, it's clear there never will be.

XP systems have aged to the point where users would like to take advantage of the Dell PC-Restore system. In the absence of answers from Dell, users have increasingly turned to my webpage. Traffic has grown steadily--up to 2,000 unique visitors per day--and I receive emails daily from frustrated Dell users all over the world.

While I'm not expecting to turn this into a money-making venture, it would be nice to occasionally take my wife out to dinner to make up for the many hours I have devoted to this project.

If you would like to donate, I thank you. Please click the button below, which will take you to a PayPal page from which you can make your donation.

Thank you,

Dan Goodell
